How to prepare your baby for his/her first shooting?

As a parent, you want your newborn's first photography session to be flawless. To help, here's a simple checklist to ensure everything goes smoothly:

  1. Timing is Key – Schedule your newborn posing session (with props, wraps, baskets…) within the first 10 days when your baby is still sleepy and flexible. If you want more lifestyle pictures (without props, wraps…) we can do the shooting whatever you want at any time!

  2. Feeding and Comfort – Make sure your baby is fed and well-rested before the shoot to ensure they’re calm and comfortable. Or, if you want pictures when you are breastfeeding your maybe, we can do it!

  3. Outfits – Choose simple, soft clothes that complement your baby’s natural beauty. Avoid overly busy patterns (if you choose lifestyle pictures). For Newborn posing, I will bring lot of props (clothes, wraps, cap, headband…).

  4. Diaper Changes and Extras – The session will take place at your home. We will take the time if baby needs to be change (I could add if he/she needs a recomfort in mum/dad’s arms, to be feed).

  5. Prepare for the Environment – Keep the room warm and cozy to keep your newborn comfortable during the session because if baby wants, I could take pictures when he/she is naked.

  6. Patience and Flexibility – Babies can be unpredictable. Don’t worry if things don’t go exactly as planned. You need to trust me to capture those beautiful moments! I am adaptable and I have always the time ☺!

By preparing ahead of time, you can ensure your newborn’s first photoshoot is an enjoyable and unforgettable experience.
